Use powdered laundry detergent
Pour grease down the drain
Flush wipes, facial tissues, paper towels, cigarettes, sanitary napkins, tampons disposable diapers, dental floss, or anything else that does not decompose.
Flush toxic materials into the system (paint thinner, gasoline, pesticides, chlorine, and drain cleaners.
Limit the use of bleach, and antibacterial soap.
